I wore a sort of Autumn-y outfit yesterday for 2 reasons: because I had to go straight from school to FNO and because I couldn't shave my legs because the water heater was turned off. The kids at school seems pretty appalled that I was pretending it wasn't a million degrees out yesterday. I was actually pretty pleased with the look; it's kind of off-kilter schoolgirl which is a fun way to usher in the fall. Are you stoked about fall dressing, or are you clinging to your racer back tanks and cut-off shorts? I always look forward to the weather cooling down, becausewith necessity for more layers come more opportunity for fun and creativity.

Speaking of creativity, have you seen Rookie? It's a new online magazine for teens created by Tavi Gevinson of Style Rookie. I am loving the content so far. She has a great article on how to overcome girl hate and some inspiring fashion tips for fall that are accessible on a low budget and totally in the vein of the old Sassy mag. I love the aesthetic of the magazine, the honesty, and how fashion is presented as something that's fun, not something you do to impress people or fit in. Tavi is such an inspiration. belt: thrifted

Well, I better get back to reading boring lectures for the worst online class ever. Have a fun weekend everyone!
I don't care what anyone says, I love stockings & wear them at any opportunity. I am always a little sad when it gets too hot & I can't wear them. And thanks for the link to Tavi's online mag. I'm checking it out now ...
